The Star and Planet Finder shows the position of over 200 stars and 9 planets. Field of view rotates for any hour, day, month and year from today through 2022. Includes information on planets, meteor showers and stars and a 16-page illustrated study booklet! Locator is 8 1/2" square.
You might use this in an astronomy science fair project, using questions like this: What stars can I see in my area on a clear night? Do temperature or humidity seem to have any affect? How do the stars I see at a given time compare in a city vs. the country? What would a star map specific to my area look like?
