DESCRIPTION
This basic red LED (light emitting diode) is 5 mm in diameter. It requires a minimum of 2 volts and 20 mA to operate. It can be used as an indicator or in place of a miniature light bulb in a variety of projects. LEDs last much longer and output more light per power input than miniature bulbs.
