DESCRIPTION

This Lab Kit for Focus On Middle School Science Set contains many of the harder-to-find items for the experiments in the Focus On Middle School Science curriculum, 3rd edition. Use this kit to give your middle schoolers hands-on lab experiences in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics! It includes iodine, test tubes, an electricity science kit, a compass, petri dishes, a magnifying glass, and more.

This kit was designed to provide students with affordable, hands-on lab experiences. It is an excellent option for students in grades 5-8 looking to complete a variety of the Middle School Chemistry, Biology, and Physics labs at a great value - without spending extra to conduct the more expensive experiments.
 
This kit does not include materials for Biology labs 2, 7, 14, 15 & 16; the lab activities within these labs can be completed by purchasing additional materials, which can be found in the 'Contents' tab of our Biology Starter Kit. Other Biology materials, not included in this kit, include both live materials (which need to be used within 2 days of arrival) and preserved specimens (which can be used for optional labs 14A, 15A & 16A). Additionally, other materials can be purchased if your child wishes to complete optional labs 14B, 15B and 16B, which are alternatives to the dissections labs (14A, 15A & 16A). While these additional Biology items are not included in this kit, they can all be found listed in the 'Contents' tab and/or on the kit order form for our Biology Starter Kit (linked above).

Note: Real Science For Kids Level 1 has a new name and a new look! While you'll enjoy the same easy-to-teach and fun-to-learn curriculum as before, it's now called Focus On Middle School and intended for grades 5-8.

Note: This kit is intended for parent/teacher use to complete curriculum lab activities with students. It includes items that are not designed or intended primarily for children ages 12 and under.
