DESCRIPTION

This lab kit contains 12 of the harder-to-find items for the experiments in the Focus On High School Chemistry curriculum. Includes test tubes, copper wire, a 9-volt battery, a graduated cylinder, sodium tetraborate & more! Use the items in this kit, along with the easier-to-find/household items required, to provide your students in grades 9-12 with robust, hands-on Chemistry lab experiences.


With this lab kit, students will work through the 10 hands-on experiments in the Focus On High School Chemistry Laboratory Workbook. They will explore Chemistry concepts such matter, mass & moles, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, acids, bases & pH, acid-base reactions, mixtures, separating mixtures, the chemistry of carbon, polymers, and biological polymers.

This kit is intended for parent/teacher use to complete curriculum lab activities with students. It includes items that are not designed or intended primarily for children ages 12 and under.

Note: Real Science For Kids Level 2 has a new name and a new look! While you'll enjoy the same easy-to-teach and fun-to-learn curriculum as before, now it's called Focus On High School and is intended for grades 9-12.
