DESCRIPTION

Porcelain evaporating dishes are commonly used to gradually heat chemical solutions, driving off the water to leave residual chemical solute. This evaporating dish is 80 mm diameter, 34 mm high and has 75 ml volume capacity. This porcelain evaporating is thermally stable and glazed on the inside for easy cleaning.

Use a clay triangle to hold an evaporating dish on a support ring while heating. Use crucible tongs to handle hot evaporating dishes.
