DESCRIPTION

This low speed DC electric motor rotates at about 1000 rpm at 1.5 volts and 1400 rpm at 3.0 volts. It runs off any battery or solar cell ranging from 0.5-volts to 6-volts.

Although slower, this low speed DC motor delivers more torque than our small DC electric motor. It makes a great generator and is an ideal motor for slower moving, higher torque projects. Be sure to order a plastic propeller with this low speed DC motor so you can watch the motor turn as you experiment.
