DESCRIPTION

This 250 ml polypropylene plastic beaker is much less expensive than a glass one, and is suitable for many laboratory uses. Polypropylene plastic beakers can hold hot liquids but not be used over an open flame or electric hot plate. They are not suitable for use with strong acids, bases, or solvents. Plastic beakers are used for mixing. The graduations are approximate and not intended for accurate liquid measurement.

There may be a slight bump on the bottom from the plastic mold, which can give the beaker a slight wobble. This is common on inexpensive plastic beakers. There is no danger of tipping.
