DESCRIPTION

Contains materials for completing the science activities in the Abeka Science: Observing God's World (Grade 6, 4th edition). NEW AND IMPROVED APRIL 2022. These kits have been re-designed with the homeschooler in mind. This kit is intended for parent use for homeschool or small student group. Additional materials may need to be purchased for lab activities with students in a classroom and completing multiples of the same activities. This kit is designed to complete "Student Observer" activities; if you would like to complete other activities within the curriculum, additional materials will need to be used or purchased. It includes items that are not designed or intended for children ages 12 and under.

A substitute material may be suggested for some activities, please refer to the kit order form and the "Curriculum Reference and Comments" section for additional information on suggested use of materials. Keep materials throughout the year as some are intended to be re-used throughout the year (that includes cups, string, clay, etc). This is to help keep the price of the kit reasonable and be able to complete as many activities as possible. A Home LED Microscope is not required but optional to purchase for use with this kit. This microscope is a great value for secondary education use. Optional items to purchase for enhancing the educational experience: For activity 3.6, we offer a collection display box if you would like a pre-made box versus using the cardboard box. For activity 3.6, check out Rocks, Minerals and Gems Golden Guide for a deeper investigation into earth science. For activity 3.6, we also have a rock study kit for the rock hound who want to explore more options of rock variety. For activity 5.2, it is optional to purchase your own binoculars or telescope for an enhanced learning experience

WarningWARNING: This product can expose you to Silica and Crystalline which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
